If you are sure that all the work has been done for a particular type of inspection, you may request a "Final Inspection" sheet. This must be filled out and returned to our office and will include your permit number, CO information and which subcontractors you actually used on your job. Keep in mind that we do next day inspections. All required porches, decks, steps, and/or handrails must be in place. Your address must also be up for easy access from E-911. The inspector will also have to have your permit in his hand when he comes to inspect your project.
Final Inspection for Mobile Homes: You must have a torque and penetrometer test form completed and in our office before we can send an inspector out to inspect a mobile home. All required porches, decks, steps, and/or handrails must be in place. Your address must also be up for easy access from E-911. The inspector will also have to have your permit in his hand when he comes to inspect your project.
Plumbing (Rough-in): Drain Waste/Vent test and water test must be performed.
Plumbing (Water connection to public utilities): You must have a water disinfectant form signed and in our office before the inspector can inspect your plumbing. This form states that you have disinfected the water system before it enters the community system. The water disinfectant form can be downloaded from our "FORMS" page. We also need an approval of water PSI (pounds per square inch) test by an appropriate inspector.
Site-Built Building, Modular Building, Addition, or Commercial Establishment: You must have your building treated for termites. We must have proof of this before we can send an inspector to your home. Most termite treatment companies will fax the proper form to us at YOUR REQUEST.
