RESERVE PROGRAM: Are subject to background checks and other procedures related to the application process. These individuals volunteer their time on their own schedule to learn the system of the 911 center.


PART-TIME: These individuals are usually hired from the reserve program and are paid for the hours they work. They are required to be certified by the Sheriff’s standards. They must be 21 years of age.


FULL-TIME: These individuals are usually hired from the part-time staff. They receive county benefits and work a regular schedule.
