August 2010 Events

Consultant, Kathy Anderson, has offered DSS/Rutherford County Offices a catalog order for Thirty-one with 12 1/2% of the profits to go to the Rutherford County Relay for Life team. Orders will be taken from Wednesday, August 4 thru Friday, August 27. There are catalogs in the DSS main building and children and families building, the Rutherford Center, and the Rutherford County Annex. You may also look at the New fall catalog on line at Thirty One Gifts . Please complete your order form and bring form and money to either Beth Archer or Michelle Padgett . Thanks for you help with this worthy cause!

SURVIVORS DINNER - Tuesday, August 17th at RS Central High School. All survivors should reserve your place at the dinner by calling toll free 1-866-227-7798 to register by August 10, 2010.

* April Spaghetti Dinner - raised over $1,100 and served over 220 plates.
* April Hanging Basket Sale - raised over $500 with beautiful geraniums, lantana, and million bells.
* Dress Down - raised over $2,200 to date.
* Putt Putt Tournament - raised over $900.
* Fishing Tournament - raised over $1,100.
