6-4  SWEEP receives award from Keep NC Beautiful.

On June 4, 2010, Brenda Ewadinger presented a check to several SWEEP members as an award for the Rutherford County Schools recycling program.  This money will be used to purchase identifiable bins for the schools.
Did You Know?
The average American uses 650 lbs. of paper per year.  100 million tons of wood could be saved each year if all that paper was actually recycled!

Where to Now?
We believe that recycling should be taught at a young age.  See what we're doing within the school system.

To learn more about recycling, visit our online resources page.  You'll find information of all sorts, including kids' recycling activities.
