Anyone needing to take out a warrant needs to contact the Magistrate (828)288-6119. The magistrate issues warrants. After a warrant is issued, it is turned over to the Warrant Divison of the Sheriff’s Office for service. Once the warrant gets to this department it is entered into the county’s computer system and is sent out for service.
